Just moved to north shore and wow Never knew this place existed !! Such a cool place my friends recommended and they were spot on!! I’ve never seen such a clean place even the bathrooms!! and all smiles at all times. Very cool bar loaded with books and the drinks are amazing. This watermelon mixed drink was very different and good. Service was great they seem well staffed with multiple front door greeters and managers one in particular Rick was on top of things very professional he assured us we would have a table as soon as possible. It was too crowded to wait inside we waited outside I was so shocked when he walked us to a little golf course they have in the back and gave us a mini tour and let us play golf while we waited to keep us busy. Then also brought out our food later. Nice to see management actually helping staff and so involved. We dine out a lot and this is RARE. Server was also amazing not sure his name I think maybe Mat. Great time they play great music and serve great food with all smiles what more can you ask for !!! I only wish the wait wasn’t so long and a lot of kids but I will be back soon all the staff were so pleasant and made us feel at home. Telling all my friends back home they must go!!

Great atmosphere and welcoming vibe at this Plainview spot. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating and excellent service. The Corn Beef Reuben was above average, and the Eggs Benedict—served on a homemade biscuit—had solid presentation and tasty sausage. However, the grilled cheese was too hard for the kids’ liking—they prefer it softer. Overall, a good experience, though not mind-blowing.

We celebrated a very special day today at The Shed — our wedding anniversary, August 16th, which also happens to be the one-year anniversary of adopting our dog, Piper. It felt fitting to mark both occasions here, since The Shed came up on the list of dog-friendly restaurants I asked ChatGPT to find for me, and they truly lived up to that label. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming not just to us, but to Piper as well. They went out of their way to make sure she felt included. When I asked for a disposable plate so she could eat, they didn’t just bring the plate — they also surprised us with a gift: a water pouch for dogs so Piper could drink comfortably. You can see it in our pictures and video, and Piper really loved it. It’s gestures like this that make me want to congratulate The Shed for being so genuinely dog-friendly. They’re not just allowing dogs; they’re embracing them as part of the experience. The food was solid, if not spectacular. We had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon on English muffin, which was good, and the smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers on toast (served with eggs any style — my wife chose poached eggs). The flavors were enjoyable and the portions generous, though I’d say the food itself was just “okay” rather than outstanding. Where The Shed really shines is the atmosphere. The location is fantastic, with a putting green out back where you can practice a few putts while waiting for your food. There’s also a small lake with a fountain that adds to the charm, making the whole place feel relaxed and inviting. All in all, The Shed gave us a memorable anniversary outing. Between the lovely setting, the thoughtful staff, and especially the dog-friendly touches that made Piper feel like part of the celebration, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. If you’re looking for a welcoming, relaxed, and truly dog-friendly restaurant in Plainview, The Shed is it.

Always only go for breakfast and brunch. The food is good, just pricy. Can’t really go wrong with breakfast food in my opinion. First time I went was at the Huntington location and the food was good. I got the breakfast bowl and it was ok. And shared pancakes together with a friend.

This place is incredible! We found The Shed on accident as we were leaving Melville from a wedding just to grab breakfast. We got the Eggs Benedict and a Lobster Roll. Both were absolutely amazing. The Eggs Benedict is served over a great biscuit, the sausage had an awesome flavor and the eggs were poached perfectly. The lobster roll came with a side of remoulade which was my favorite part. It seems like there’s multiple locations, and I typically try to avoid restaurants with multiple locations. However, I highly recommend this place and would absolutely be back if I’m in the area. We had to sit at the bar though, otherwise the wait on a Sunday morning was about 45 minutes.

Pretty amazing lunch, just walked on in got on the wait list and played a little putt putt behind the place, I wished the wait was longer. The staff were very accommodating with a member of my party who has a wheelchair, opening the door, removing a chair from the table. Service was excellent, waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Lunch consisted of the the shed bowl, chicken salad, shrimp and chips, and this lobster salad. We also had the wings and hummus crudite as appetizers. Everybody commented on how good the food was, the drinks never went dry. Amazing amazing amazing, literally nothing bad to say here. Give it a try.

Nice spot with breakfast, lunch and dinner in one menu. The blackened fish sandwich was flavourful and plentiful. The bread was soft. The mac and cheese was cheese and nice, a lil more seasoning would have been better. There was outdoor and indoor seating. The wait time was at first 45mins around 12:30pm on a Sunday but they called us within 15mins, so that was good.
